Stuart Moulton is the Producing Artistic Director
of Austin Cabaret Theatre. He has performed
with and produced Broadway & cabaret stars
Carol Channing, Eartha Kitt, Ann Hampton Callaway, Charo, Steve Ross, Sam Harris, Jason Graae, Michael Holland, Karen Mack, Kitty Carlisle-Hart, Karen Akers, Julie Budd, Sandra ReAves, Klea Blackhurst, Amanda McBroom, Donna McKechnie, Tony DeSare, Faith Prince, Paige Davis, and Elaine Stritch (in her Tony Award winning Broadway show At Liberty), just to name-drop a few. He currently tours with the award winning & internationally renown A Conversation With Edith Head. Stuart was the Production Manager for Southern Arizona Civic Light Opera Company, Co-Producer at The Invisible Theatre in Tucson, Company Manager for Austin Musical Theatre, and co-founder of play! Theatre Group in Austin. He ran the State of Arizona’s most successful children’s musical theatre program for four years, through Catalina Foothills Community Schools. An accomplished performer and director, Stuart has performed across the United States and abroad. Often as a broad. He has appeared in productions of Oklahoma! (Will Parker), Paint Your Wagon (Sandy), Phantom (Young Carriere/Etienne), Pageant (Miss West Coast), You Should Be So Lucky (Christopher), A Chorus Line (Bobby), Kindertransport (The Ratcatcher), three different productions of La Cage aux Folles (Hannah, Odette, Dermah), and numerous other shows. Stuart is also one of the few men who has had the honor of kicking it up with New York's famous Rockettes. He has directed and/or choreographed productions of A...My Name is Still Alice, Oklahoma!, La Cage, Bye Bye Birdie, Good News, Forever Plaid, Cabaret, Archy & Mehitabel, Pageant, Peter Pan, as well as many revue and cabaret shows. He also finds time to develop new pieces for entertainers like Emmy nominee Paige Davis, beloved host of "Trading Spaces," and has written special material for many cabaret luminaries including Eartha Kitt and Carol Channing. His one-man shows, Whatever Happened to Tina Louise?, I Don’t Mean Rhinestones…A Tribute to Carol Channing, Life Upon the Wicked Stage, Just Go To The Movies, and From the Ridiculous to the Sublime have received critical raves. Stuart coaches professional flying trapeze at New York’s Circus Warehouse.
